In a time when economic and social challenges intertwine, the Molhem Center for Sustainable Development shines as a beacon of hope in the heart of Taiz, Yemen. This project, driven by Professor Misk's passion, is more than just a traditional initiative; in her eyes, it is a bridge connecting the past and the future, ambition and reality.

The centre was established to be a turning point in young men's and women's lives, focusing on women and supporting young girls to continue their education in the best possible way. The project aims to empower young people by providing training and the necessary resources to develop their skills and achieve economic independence. Misk says, "We saw in this project an opportunity to change people's lives and provide the support that can turn challenges into real opportunities."

After receiving a small financial grant from the Al-Jisr Project, Misk strengthened her plan to expand the centre’s activities, allowing her to offer innovative training programs. These programs are workshops and educational platforms that open new horizons for participants, particularly in online work. Misk adds, "The training from the Al-Jisr Project was like a window that opened doors to a better future for us and the participants."

In addition to focusing on economic skill development, the Molhem Center pays special attention to preserving cultural heritage by creating a heritage library that collects and preserves the region's intellectual and human heritage. The Molhem Center for Sustainable Development places environmental sustainability at the core of its mission. By promoting green solutions, the centre seeks to raise awareness about using renewable energy and sustainable agriculture in rural communities. These initiatives contribute to environmental protection, create new job opportunities, and help improve the local economy.

As embodied by Misk, social entrepreneurship goes beyond improving living conditions; it extends to building a more sustainable and stable community. In Yemen, where communities face countless challenges, the Molhem Project is a model for how ideas can be transformed into tangible realities that contribute to community development and long-term sustainability.
